Original Trilobi Dining Table by ROR - Later produced by Mastercraft
A rare original pair of Trilobi dining table pedestals - with glass top - designed by ROR (Ringo Or Robin), the design company founded by Ringo Starr and Robin Cruikshank. The design was later licensed to Mastercraft, examples of which are more commonly available.
The pair were acquired from the estate of Simon Cousins, who was the son of award winning industrial designer James Cousins, who worked on the manufacture of ROR designs. They feature the ROR maker’s label, as well being dated on the underside and signed by Ringo Starr. The signature and date suggest that these are a prototype design that was approved for manufacture in 1974.
ROR was founded when Robin Cruikshank collaborated with Ringo Starr to realise designs of furniture for Ringo’s new home in North West London in 1968. Their office was established above The Beatles’ Apple Corps at 3 Saville Row, London.
An extremely unique and collectible historic find.

Condition
Glass is in very good condition with minimal wear.
Pedestals are in good condition however do exhibit some small dents. Two faces show signs of very light scratching. Overall the pedestals are clean, solid and sturdy. All as photographed.
