Hans Wegner FH4103 'Heart' Dining Chairs for Fritz Hansen - Set of 6
Set of six Hans Wegner FH4103 dining chairs for Fritz Hansen, commonly referred to as ‘Heart shape’ (although we would say teardrop!) in solid Oak. Designed in 1953.
As with many Fritz Hansen dining chairs, the 4103 was created to be space efficient with a sturdy stackable shape. A relatively rare design featuring tripod legs supporting an unusual teardrop or heart shape seat pad. The back rest however has a rather typical Hans Wegner bowed form which compliments the seat pad.
A seemingly delicate, yet sturdy and practical dining chair combining two of the leading names in mid century Danish furniture.

Condition
Very good vintage condition. Structurally sturdy. Cleaned and waxed. One chair exhibits a small chip on one fo the legs.
