Art Deco Oak Sideboard

£3,400.00

A prestigious Art Deco sideboard constructed in solid oak from circa 1930. This wonderful piece is extremely rare, from an era of cabinet making that combined craftsmanship with elegant design. The design is on the subtler end of the Art Deco aesthetic with quintessential accents on the cupboard doors, on the rear side, and a stepped base. The piece also features pentagonal prism shaped brass handle.

The large cupboard doors open to reveal two spacious compartments both with a removable shelf. A draw is situated above each cupboard, one having a partially lined divider and the other being empty. The backboard on the top of the piece is also removable.

While there are key holes, there is no key present.

Perfect if you are looking for a spacious, solid, and stylish storage piece that nobody else will have.

Dimensions

W: 122cm D: 50cm H: 94cm

Condition

Very good condition. Solid and sturdy. Beautiful patina to the wood grain and brass handles. The internal compartments are clean while showing only very light signs of use. The doors and drawers open and close smoothly. General aged patina commensurate with age but no damage.
